The unboxing experience is a little different than other similar robots. The entire package comes in a single huge box. It looks nice and gives a lot of room to describe every feature in detail. The main cleaning unit is packed in a bag with all the cleaning accessories, including multi-surface floor cleaner, bags, and boxes to hold dust and clean water. While L10s Ultra is in a separate box packed with its accessories, cleaning brushes, mop, and a small dust box with a HEPA filter.

You can attach two mops that have multiple settings to ensure the best cleaning.

Moreover, I absolutely loved the white color. I always associate it with cleanliness and also masks fingerprints and dust, which are quite visible on black glossy surfaces.

The main station has a similar white color with a silver magnetic cover to hide the dust bag. It has an excellent design that perfectly houses two water tanks, a dust bag, and a small multipurpose floor cleaner. In addition to cameras, the AI engine plays a crucial role in making it an excellent device. After analyzing the images, it automatically draws the best path to ensure a top finish. It can also detect the objects lying around and changes its course and mode of cleaning accordingly, like automatically lifting the mop on the carpet, so it doesn’t get wet. It can also memorize different maps and floors to avoid repeating the settings. You can also set up a customized cleaning process for each room or zone, which is fantastic.

The robot can be controlled with both the Mi Home app and the DreameBot Home app. Both are incredible; I am using the Mi Home app as most of my smart home devices are from the Mi ecosystem. On the front, it has the map, stats about the cleaning, and robot vacuum status. It has tons of customization options, like setting the no clean zone, setting the cleaning sequence and schedule, automatically adding detergent, how often the vacuum cleaner should visit the base station, wetness of the mop, and much more.

Real-life Performance

Clean and Dirty Water Tank

After booting up the robot and connecting power to the base station, the vacuum will ask you to add clean water in the corresponding tank and detergent in the designated slot. Now the base station is ready, and the DreameBot L 10s Ultra has mapped the floor, it’s time to start the cleaning.

Let’s start with mopping. The robot has multiple settings to set the wetness of the mop, and you can also set a different setting for each room. I was very interested in the effectiveness of the mopping, and it is excellent. DreameBot L10s Ultra is a 3.7-kilo robot and is definitely among the best mopper. Spinning pads do a great job; whenever they are dirty, the vacuum will go to the base station, which will suck the dust and send in a clean robot for the next section.

So, let’s move to the rice test. Here I have spilled about 60 grams of rice to check how effective and fast it sucks them all. You can see how sound DreameBot L10s Ultra almost took everything off the floor and cleaned 59 grams of rice.

For slightly aggressive testing, I used a mixture of flour seeds, hair, and a bunch of nasty stuff, and the robot cleaned everything leaving a shiny surface.

The cleaning brush is detachable, allowing you to easily remove hair and strings. The high carpets are not a problem for this vacuum as it can easily scale 2cm tall obstacles. Cleaning speed is also good; covering a square meter takes less than a minute.
